Police investigate shooting in Grays Ferry that leaves teen injured

GRAYS FERRY (WTXF) - Police in Grays Ferry are investigating after a 16-year-old was shot.

Police were called to the 1500 block of South Etting Street Sunday evening, around 7:30.

Upon arrival, police found a 16-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach. Police say the teen managed to get in a home where he called for help.

The victim was transported to Penn Presbyterian Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

Police say the investigation is ongoing. No weapon was recovered and no arrests have been made.
