Police investigating death of child in West Oak Lane

WEST OAK LANE (WTXF) - Philadelphia Police are investigating the death of a child in West Oak Lane.

The child was found dead on the 1900 block of Elston Street around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to police, an 11-year-old black male child was found unresponsive inside a home on the block by his sister.

He was taken to Einstein Medical Center by medics where he was pronounced dead at 6:12 p.m.
