Police investigating homicide in Nicetown

NICETOWN (FOX 29) - Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in Nicetown overnight.

Shortly before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the 1900 block of Rowan Street, where a 27-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the head.

The victim was transproted to Temple University Hospital, where he was prnounced dead a short time later.

No arrests have been made a this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
