Police locate vehicle believed to be involved in Wynnefield hit-and-run

WYNNEFIELD (WTXF) - Police have recovered the vehicle they say was involved in a fatal hit-and-run Wednesday morning in Wynnefield.

Officials say a driver struck a pedestrian around 10 p.m. Tuesday night 54th Street and City Avenue.

Paramedics transported the victim, a 58-year-old man, to Lankenau Medical Center where he died a short time later.

Police recovered the vehicle allegedly involved in the incident on the 3600 block of North 19th Street.

This is an ongoing investigation. No arrests have been made at this time.
