Police: Man fatally shot in the back of the head in Kingsessing

KINGSESSING (WTXF) - Police are investigating following a homicide in Kingsessing.

Shortly before 6 a.m. on Sunday, officers responded to the 5800 block of Beaumont Street, where a neighbor reportedly found an unresponsive 30- to 40-year-old man.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the back of the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made at this time, and no weapon has been recovered.
