Police: Man seen stealing tools from construction site

CENTER CITY (WTXF) - A man is wanted after police say he stole thousands of dollars worth of tools and copper fittings from a Center City building under construction.

Police say he went inside the building at 1529 Walnut Street at about 2:15am last Friday, May 27.

Then, he was caught on camera taking the tools and copper fittings, which were reportedly worth $4,000.

He got away in an unknown direction.

The thief is described as 6'5" tall, weighing about 325 lbs., with a stocky build, and he was wearing a black t-shirt with white writing.
