Police: Man shot after being accused of looking at woman

Philadelphia Police are looking for a man they say shot another man after accusing the victim of looking at a woman in his car.

The incident occurred back on July 5 th in West Philadelphia around 12:30 a.m. at 62 nd and Landsowne Avenue.

Police say the 50-year-old victim was waiting for a trolley when a car pulled up to the traffic light with the suspect and a female passenger inside.

The driver accused the victim of looking at his passenger and then drove off. The car returned a few moments later, and the suspect got out of the car, walked up to the victim and shot him once in the leg before getting back into his car.

The suspect was last seen heading north on 62 nd Street.

Police have described the suspect as a black male, 20-years-old, standing 5'9", with a medium build. The car is described as a silver or light green sedan.
