Police: Man shot execution style while celebrating birthday at makeshift bar

FELTONVILLE (WTXF) - Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting deadly shooting inside a makeshift bar in Feltonville

The shooting occurred late Sunday night around 11 p.m. near D Street and Wyoming Avenue.

Investigators say the gunman walked into the makeshift bar with two other men and opened fire on the victim, who police have identified as 32-year-old Roberto Hernandez. He was shot in the chest and hip and officers rushed him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Witnesses tell police the victim was at the bar celebrating his birthday with a group of about 20 people. According to police, witnesses may have known all three suspects.

Police are hoping footage from nearby surveillance cameras will provide more information about the incident.
