Police: Men used tow truck to steal cars in Delaware, sell to dealership
WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Police say two men have been using a tow truck to steal cars in Delaware and each is charged with offenses including 10 counts of felony motor vehicle theft.
New Castle County police as saying 47-year-old Matthew Wojciechowski and 44-year-old Arnold Phillip Anderson were arrested after there had been reports since January about stolen cars.
Police say the men were seen in the truck last month driving to Chester, Pennsylvania. They say the two stole a car and sold it to a dealership. Investigators say they discovered the men sold several other stolen vehicles to the business.
Police say the cars were paid off and the owners still had the keys. Many were older models and disabled.
It's unclear if the men have lawyers who could comment.
