Police seize drugs, gun, $100k in New Castle
NEW CASTLE, Del. (WTXF) - Police have arrested a man in New Castle after they found over $100,000 in drug proceeds in his apartment on Wednesday.
Police say that 24-year-old Benjamin Boudart was allegedly conducting drug activity on the 5000 block of Kirkwood Highway. After a search of Boudart, officers found five THC oil cartridges and 25 grams of marijuana.
Authorities than searched Boudart's residence in Bear and found 39 THC cartridges, a rifle with ammunition and a digital scale. Police also recovered and seized $134,710.
Boudart, who was in violation of his parole, was charged with felony drug dealing and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Boudart posted bail, but is being held at Howard Young Correctional Institution for violation of parole.
