Police: Woman shot, killed in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police say they are investigating a shooting that left a woman dead on the 400 block of W. Diamond Street in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. Friday.

According to police, the woman was found in front of a corner store shot once in the back. She was taken to Temple University Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

So far, no arrests or weapons have been recovered.
