The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has turned to the public to solve its holiday display dilemma.

A commuter who drives through the Holland Tunnel every day isn't happy with the positioning of the Christmas decorations on the tunnel sign.

Every holiday season the sign is decorated with 2 wreaths and a Christmas tree.

But it drives Cory Windelspecht crazy that the tree is over the letter N in the word Holland instead of the letter A where he says it would fit perfectly.

He says it's unsightly and ruins the holiday festivities.

The PANYNJ is asking the public to help decide where to move- or not- the decorations.

A survey is available online where you can cast your vote.

Windelspecht had started a change.org petition to ask the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which owns the tunnel, to move the tree decoration over from the letter N to cover the A.

More than 1,100 people had signed the petition by Wednesday morning. He planed to attend a board meeting on Thursday to make the request in person.
