Rapper 2 Chainz surprises wounded vet with furniture and rent for a year

Atlanta-based rapper 2 Chainz spread some holiday cheer to a family in Palmetto, Georgia on December 5 through his charity organization TRU Foundation.

According to a local report, 2 Chainz and his foundation recently became aware of the difficulties that disabled veteran Dierdre Plater was facing, including recovering from a surgery and searching for a job for almost a year.

2 Chainz surprised Plater and her son Isaiah at their apartment, rolling up in a U-Haul filled with bedroom furniture and sofas.

He also agreed to pay her rent for an entire year with a portion of the proceeds from his 'ugly' Christmas sweater line, which feature a "dabbing" Santa.

After spending some time with Plater, 2 Chainz stuck around and played a little football with some local kids, as can be seen in an Instagram video.
