SEPTA asks the public to check their schedules in advance of traveling due to weather

SEPTA is urging customers to check their schedules in advance of traveling Monday, October 30, due to weather concerns.

Because the forecast calls for more rain into Monday, October 30, and winds are expected to be strong, the public is asked to check for service updates.

In particular, Regional Rail has the potential for weather-related service issues. Periods of strong winds have the potential to bring trees down on tracks or bring down overhead wires.

SEPTA states that all service alerts are posted at www.septa.org and on their Twitter page @SEPTA.
