SEPTA restores operations on many of its services following Blizzard of 2016

SEPTA has resumed service on many of its services following Saturday's blizzard.

General Manager Jeffrey Knueppel held a press conference at 6:30 a.m. Monday morning giving details on any delays and general operations of various lines.

The service announcements are as follows:

General Announcement:

Regional Rail trains are experiencing delays up to 30 minutes due to weather-related issues.

Bus:

Route 19: Service has resumed. Please monitor System Status for updates.

Routes 12, 127, 128, 129, 130, 131, 133, 139, 150, 17, 2, 24, 25, 26, 29, 3, 30, 31, 32, 33, 35, 39, 43, 45, 46, 47, 47M, 48, 5, 53, 57, 62, 65, 68, 7, 71, 75, 77, 8, 88, 89, 90, 91, 94, 95, 98, G, H, J, K, L, XH: Service is suspended until further notice.

Regional Rail:

Paoli/Thorndale: Service is canceled between Malvern and Thorndale due to Amtrak switch problems. Train #9530 to Center City will express from Strafford to 30th Street due to overcrowding.

Warminster: Train #4213 to Newark will operate 2 cars short, passengers may experience overcrowding.

Media/Elwyn: Train #4311 to Media will operate 2 cars short, passengers may experience overcrowding.

Trenton: Train #726 to Chestnut Hill East will operate 2 cars short, passengers may experience overcrowding.

Chestnut Hill West: Train #818 to Fox Chase is canceled. Next train to Center City is #9820 scheduled to depart 8:11AM.

Wilmington/Newark: Train #9212 to Center City is canceled due to equipment problems.

Broad Street Line:

Broad Street Line: There will be no express service this morning.

Norristown High Speed Line:

Norristown High Speed Line: Train service is operating between 69th Street Transportation Center and Bryn Mawr. There is no service beyond Bryn Mawr to Norristown. Regional Rail service on the Paoli/Thorndale Line or the Manayunk/Norristown Line may be viable alternatives for some passengers.

CCT:

CCT: Service will be provided for work, dialysis and medical appointments only until further notice.
