Siblings injured in double stabbing after intervening to protect mom from ex-boyfriend

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A 20-year-old woman and her 17-year-old brother were stabbed inside a home on the 1100 block of Fillmore Street in Northeast Philadelphia.

Police say the siblings were stabbed with a kitchen knife by the mom's ex-boyfriend.

They say the boyfriend and mother were fighting when the children intervened to protect her.

Police are now looking for the boyfriend, who allegedly fled the scene.

The brother and sister are in stable condition at Einstein Hospital.
