Southbound lanes of NE Extension back open after crashes

The southbound lanes of the PA Turnpike's Northeast Extension are back open after crews cleaned up an early morning crash that led to a lot more.

FOX 29's Bob Kelly reported a box truck went over a guard rail and into a construction zone. That was about five miles south of the Lansdale exit. No life-threatening injuries were reported.

Crews also had to clean up at least two other crashes.

Authorities detoured southbound at the Quakertown interchange onto Route 63 east, and then Route 309 south.
