Teen directs powerful ant-bullying video
SACRAMENTO, CA - A high school freshman's anti-bullying PSA has made quite an impact online.
Lindsey Hunter has big dreams of becoming a movie director. Those dreams come with a lot of hard work -- perfecting camera angles, lighting techniques and editing.
"From a young age, I liked to make music videos on my iTouch with my little sister and I forced my little sister to be in it and it just kind of grew from there and I am taking the media class here at Folsom High School," Hunter said.
Recently, Hunter decided to make a project for a competition that would make a difference. She decided to tackle the national problem of bullying in a short, 5-minute PSA.
"I know bullying is present, especially in technology and it's probably present through all ages. I think it's present everywhere," Hunter said.
Little did she know, her video would find its way into several classrooms and receive more than 400,000 views in just a few short weeks.
