Two former Temple police officers charged in connection to Germantown homicide

Two former Temple police officers have been charged in connection to a homicide on Friday night.

According to Philadelphia Police, the incident occurred on the 4600 block of Greene Street inside a private home at 10:40 a.m.

A 24-year-old black female was assaulted by a 47-year-old black male.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, and an arrest was made.

A Temple University spokesman identified the two former officers involved. Aaron Wright resigned from Temple's police department in 2012.

Marquis Robinson has been terminated from the department.

Temple is cooperating with Philadelphia Police in their investigation.
