Two people stabbed in Center City are in critical condition, according to police

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WTXF) - Philadelphia Police say two people were stabbed in Center City.

According to authorities on-scene a 25-year-old male was stabbed and a 37-year-old female was stabbed on South Broad Street Saturday, January 20, a little before 8 p.m.

Police say the male victim was transported to Hahnemann University Hospital and was listed in critical condition.

The female victim was also transported to Hahnemann Hospital with stab wounds to the face and stomach. She is listed in critical condition.

Investigators say a suspect was in custody and a weapon had been recovered.
