Two police cars undergo heavy damage after crash

MAYFAIR, Pa. (WTXF) - Two police cars and one civilian vehicle have been involved in a in a large accident.

Police say one police vehicle was traveling eastbound on Unruh Ave and the other was traveling southbound on Brous Ave when they collided before 1:00 p.m. Friday.

The third civilian vehicle was headed south bound on Brous Ave when it crashed as well.

The two police vehicles involved in the accident have heavy damage.

According to police, the civilian driver sustained no injuries.

Both officers suffered minor injuries and both have been transported to Jefferson/Torresdale Hospital. Officials say they are expected to be treated and released.
