U-Haul truck crashes into Public Storage, safe stolen

A crash and grab at a Public Storage facility was caught on camera and police want to catch the people in a large U-Haul truck.

It happened in Northeast Philadelphia last Thursday, Sept. 15, at 1:33am.

The truck with two people inside pulled up to the Public Storage at 2700 Grant Avenue and rammed the truck through the front doors of the building.

That's when one a man got out from the passenger side and took a safe containing an undisclosed amount of money.

Then, he and the driver drove off in an unknown direction.

There is no description of the driver.

The second suspect is described as about 30 years old, with a thin build and long brown hair. He was wearing a black hat, orange t-shirt with unknown print on the front, tan pants and black shoes.
