Upper Chichester man sentenced to lengthy prison term for child pornography possession

An Upper Chichester man was sentenced Friday for child pornography possession charges and criminal use of a communications facility according to the Office of the District Attorney.

Patrick Alpaugh was sentenced to 14-40 years in state prison in Delaware County Court.

According to a press release, a majority of the images found in his possession showed infants, toddlers, and/or children believed to be less than 12-years-old.

On August 21, 2015, the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) executed a warrant on Alpaugh's home with assistance from Upper Chichester Police.

The search yielded two hard drives of which a forensic examination located 147 images of apparent child pornography with images involving the penetration or attempted penetration of a child.

The press release states that two of the images depicted children in bondage.
