Weather Authority: Sunny and mild Wednesday after cold start

The Delaware Valley will enjoy a sunny and pleasant Wednesday with highs reaching 50 degrees and a low of 30.

High pressure will build into our area from the Great Lakes and move southward which will help usher in warm temperature over the rest of the week.

Opening Day is a little early this season for the Phillies, but fans at Citizens Bank Park on Thursday will enjoy a nice early spring day. Highs will stretch near the 60's and plenty of sunshine will bask the baseball diamond as the Phillies take on the Braves.

As we reach the weekend, the weather really starts warming up. Friday will reach a high of 69 with clouds and Saturday will climb into the 70's.

The warm weather will not stay too long before falling back into the mid-50's by next week.
