West Philadelphia shooting leaves a man in critical condition

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A man is in critical condition after a shooting in West Philadelphia.

Police responded to the 5000 block of Aspen Street Wednesday just after 8 p.m.

Upon arrival, police found an 18-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the groin.

He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and is listed in critical condition.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
