Westbound lanes reopen after major accident on I-78 in Berks County

BERKS COUNTY (WTXF) - State Police are responding to a major accident between five passenger cars and a tractor trailer on the westbound lanes of I-78 in Berks County.

The accident occurred between Exit 29A-PA 61 South and Exit 23-Shartlesville.

According to police, westbound lanes on I-78 have been reopened. There is still traffic in the area.

Police are reporting between 10 and 13 people have been injured.
