Woman accused of robbing Lehigh Avenue bank

A robber struck a Lehigh Avenue bank and made off with money. Now, Philadelphia police and the FBI are asking for your help finding her.

It happened last Friday afternoon at the Washington Savings Bank at 2548 E. Lehigh Avenue.

Authorities say she handed a demand note to a teller. Then, she got an undisclosed amount of cash and ran off.

They say, from looking at surveillance photos, she's in her early 30s, about 5'7" tall, with a medium build. She was wearing a pink baseball cap, pink shirt, orange and black shorts, dark sunglasses and flip-flops.

Authorities warn, they consider her armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia police at 215-686-TIPS (8477). They say there is a reward for information leading to her capture and tipsters can remain anonymous.
