Woman shot through neighbor's front door after domestic dispute in Tioga

A woman is in the hospital after police say she was shot following a domestic dispute in Philadelphia's Tioga neighborhood.

Police say the 23-year-old victim and her boyfriend were arguing around 3:30 a.m. Thursday morning.

During the argument, the victim ran for help at a neighbor's house on the 1900 block of West Allegheny Avenue.

Investigators say her boyfriend followed her and pulled out a gun, firing 10 shots through the front door of the home, striking the victim. She was taken to the hospital where she was listed in stable condition.

Eight other people were in the home, including a pregnant woman and four children at the time the shots were fired.

Police say they believe they know who the suspect is, and are continuing to search for him.
