Woman stabbed, attacked with bleach in North Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA - A 19-year-old woman was critically injured in North Philadelphia after police say she was stabbed and attacked with bleach by another woman.
What we know:
Police responded to multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting a stabbing on the 4200 block of North Hicks Street shortly before 2 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Officers arrived on scene and found the victim suffering from a stab wound to the left side of her neck. Police also say the victim had bleach thrown on her by her alleged attacker.
She was transported by police to Temple University Hospital where she was listed in critical condition.
A 26-year-old woman was apprehended at the scene without further incident.
What we don't know:
Police have not yet identified the suspect or announced what charges she would face in the incident.
No motive in the attack was released.
