Eagles' shot at playoffs at stake in Cincinnati
CINCINNATI, Ohio (WTXF/AP) - Both the Philadelphia Eagles and Cincinnati Bengals can begin thinking about next season after recent slumps.
The Eagles (5-6) lost four straight on the road, and they're set to play in Cincinnati.
However, the news is mixed. The birds are 9-1 vs. AFC teams like the Bengals since 2014.
Cincinnati (3-7-1) has gone downhill over the past seven games with their record over that time just 1-5-1.
A true sign of their malaise is that Mike Nugent has missed his past three point-after-touchdown kicks and four of the past eight.
You'll remember last week wasn't pretty for the Eagles. They fell to the Packers at home.
We'll see whether they get their mojo back on the road.
Kickoff at 1pm on FOX 29.
