Temple Owls Move Up to #21 in AP Polls

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - The Temple Owls have risen one spot in the AP top 25 after pulling out a nail biter against the East Carolina University Pirates Thursday night. The Owls also finished 22nd in the Coaches Poll, two spots higher than last week.

Head Coach Matt Rhule and the Owls are now perched in the number 21 spot, after being ranked 22 nd the previous week.

Two of the Owl's American Conference foes also made a move in the rankings as the Memphis Tigers moved up two spots to 16, and Houston moved up three spots to 18.

Saturday night at 8:00 p.m., the Owls will take on the ninth ranked Fighting Irish of Notre Dame at Lincoln Financial Field.
