On this episode of "The 215," we take a look at the places around our area that are helping make the community a better place. A pastor started Level Up Philly as a safe place for kids from all over the city to hang out, get a hot meal and stay safe. Down Home Pizza looks to hire formerly incarcerated people and give them a second chance. The Philly Goat Project is a non-profit that helps raise goats in the city and creates free programming for kids. Two dads work together to raise awareness for reading in schools through their program FathersRead365 and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu studio provides a safe atmosphere for kids to work on their skills and keep themselves safe.

The 215 meets one of the owners of the ACX1 Studios in Atlantic City as they get ready to transform Caesars Pier and go behind the scenes with the Temple University Marching Band as they finish football season and get ready for basketball season.

This week on "The 215", Breland Moore visited the historic Fort Mifflin. The 215 learned about the artist behind the statues at Grounds for Sculpture in New Jersey. FOX 29's Bryan Zilai followed some local kayakers on their trip down Rancocas Creek and FOX 29's George Roach gave us a behind the scenes look at the 100th anniversary of aerial refueling.
