Weather Authority: Early showers Sunday with cool temps, afternoon sun

PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - The Philadelphia area is slated for rainy Sunday with cool temperatures.

Temperatures will reach a high of 61 degrees. Rain showers in the morning will give way to some sunshine during the afternoon hours.

Monday will see intervals of clouds and sunshine before rain returns to the forecast for the majority of the week. Thunderstorms are expected Tuesday through Thursday.

Temperatures will fluctuate between the mid-60s and mid-70s
