Weather Authority: Friday morning rain to clear ahead of beautiful weekend
PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Friday was off to a soggy start with much of the Philadelphia area under flood warnings before the rain moved out to sea.
Many likely woke up to pouring ran pounding against their homes, but the heaviest of the rain moved offshore.
Luckily, Friday is not expected to be a total washout with FOX 29's Mike Masco explaining that we could even see some sunshine later in the day.
Friday's afternoon sunshine will pave the way for a beautiful Saturday with clear skies and highs in the mid-70s. Sunday will bring more of the same with partly cloudy skies and more mild temperatures in the mid-70s.
