Weather Authority: Heavy rain to dampen most of the weekend

The Delaware Valley is looking at another wet weekend with showers expected to start Friday night.

On the bright side, temperatures won't be as cold as they have been the past several days, because of the incoming moisture.

Showers are expected to reach most of the area between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Friday night. Those showers are expected to be heavy at times with 1 to 2 inches potentially falling.

Flooding may be a concern in poor drainage areas.

The rain is expected to continue into Saturday morning, but we should get a break in the rain during the afternoon. Showers could pick back up by Saturday night, leaving Sunday damp and unsettled, with more rain possible.
