Good Day welcomes Shaina Humphries to FOX 29
PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - Thursday morning, Good Day Philadelphia's Mike Jerrick and Alex Holley introduced FOX 29's newest anchor, Shaina Humphries!
Shaina grew up outside of Chicago and spent the last six years as an anchor in Des Moines, Iowa!
Her career kicked off back in 2012, after earning a Master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. Shaina earned her Bachelor's Degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Illinois.

While working for KCCI, she experienced the excitement and chaos of covering four major election cycles in Iowa. In 2017, she led KCCI's year-long State of Addiction initiative, reporting almost exclusively on Iowa's opioid addiction epidemic.
As a member of our FOX 29 News team, you'll be able to watch Shaina when she anchors the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts starting this Monday, Feb. 18.
