Local businesses come together in support of PAWS

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Local businesses are coming together Wednesday in support of Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).

The non-profit celebrates its 4th Annual Philly Loves PAWS Day Wednesday, with nearly 100 restaurants, shops and neighborhood businesses donating a portion of their profits to PAWS.

PAWS is the city's largest rescue partner and provider of low-cost, basic veterinary care for pet owners and rescue organizations that cannot otherwise access or afford it.

The folks behind PAWS stopped by Good Day Philadelphia Wednesday to give us a preview of the annual event.
