PAWS gives sneak peek of 11th Annual Mutt Strut
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WTXF) - The good folks at Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) stopped by Good Day on Wednesday to give viewers a preview of its 11th Annual Mutt Strut, which takes place on Saturday October 14.
Naturally, the local nonprofit came armed with a crew of adoptable pups decked out in their Halloween best.
Dogs (and the people who love them) will walk the scenic route in The Navy Yard on Saturday to raise funds and awareness for PAWS' efforts to save Philadelphia's homeless animals.
So far, the event has raised $72,500, with an ultimate goal of $125,000.
FOX 29's own Sue Serio will act as one of the event's Masters of Ceremonies.
