Richard Curtis will pit teachers against students in 'The ClassH-Room' on FOX 29

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A familiar face will soon be back on the airwaves right here on FOX 29. Hint - he spent the summer with us last year.

That's right! Richard Curtis is returning, and that's not the only announcement...

He'll be the host of "The ClassH-Room," which will debut on FOX 29 on Oct. 1.

The half-hour game show will pit local teachers vs. their students, and the winning team decides which school club receives a monetary donation.

Curtis, of course, spent last summer on "Good Day Philadelphia."

Before that, he competed in 2016 to become Kelly Ripa's co-host on "Live with Kelly!"

On Friday morning, he joined "Good Day Philadelphia" to explain what the new show is all about.
