1 dead, 1 injured after car flips over I-95 guardrail in Port Richmond

PORT RICHMOND (WTXF) - One person has died and another is hospitalized after a car flipped over a guardrail on I-95 Saturday and landed on Wheatsheaf Lane in Port Richmond.

The car flipped onto its roof, killing a 21-year-old woman inside.

The incident happened around 4 a.m. after the vehicle was seen speeding on I-95 northbound near the Betsy Ross Bridge.

Police have yet to identify the victims.
