1 dead, 2 critical in South Philadelphia shooting

Police are investigating after a shooting in South Philadelphia that left one man dead and two others in critical condition.

Authorities say three men were sitting inside a Nissan at the intersection of Oregon and Passyunk avenues when the alleged shooter drove up beside them and opened fire.

One of the passengers, a 28-year-old man, died after being shot multiple times. A 25-year-old man sitting in the backseat was shot in the shoulder and is in critical condition at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. The driver, a 31-year-old man, was also shot in the shoulder and is in critical condition.

Police have yet to identify the deceased.

No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
