A red light runner is being blamed for the early morning crash that killed one person and injured two others.

The crash happened at about 4:25am in West Oak Lane and left a van on its side.

Police say a 22-year-old in a car ran a red light in the 6600 block of N. 18th Street, hitting that van with three people inside.

A 47-year-old woman who was in the van was pronounced dead at the scene. Two men who were in the van - ages 62 and 20 -- were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The man accused of running the red light was not injured, but arrested.
