1 hospitalized after fire in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - One person is in the hospital following a fire in West Philadelphia early Monday morning.

Flames broke out at a home on the 4200 block of Westminster Avenue just after midnight.

Firefighters were able to quickly get the fire under control in about 15 minutes.

One person was taken to the hospital in unknown condition. Three other people and a pet were in the home at the time of the fire but were able to get out unharmed.
