15-year-old girl shot in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (WTXF) - Police searching for the person responsible for shooting a 15-year-old girl in Wilmington.

The incident took place on the 600 block of Pine Street around 5:30 Sunday night.

The teen was shot in her left ankle.

Paramedics treated the girl on scene and brought her to the hospital where she is recovering.
