17-year-old victim of Northwest Philadelphia fatal shooting identified
NORTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Philadelphia Police are investigating a homicide that occurred in Northwest Philadelphia.
The incident occurred on the 300 block of East Wister Street at 6:38 p.m.
A 17-year-old male was shot once in the chest. He was transported to Einstein Medical Center by police and was pronounced at 6:58 p.m.
Another male was also shot at the location. A 29-year-old male walked into Einstein's emergency room with a gunshot wound to the right side in the rib cage area. He is in stable condition.
The male is scheduled to be released from the hospital Sunday and is not being held as a prisoner.
The investigation is active and ongoing. The victim has been identified as Maurice Irving of the 200 block of West Abbottsford Avenue.
