2 arrested when police seize guns, drugs, property

Two people are under arrest after the Delaware State Police got information about illegal guns and stolen property in a Laurel apartment.

At midday Tuesday, troopers executed a search warrant in the 1000 block of Hollybrook Apartments.

They say they found "a .22 caliber rifle, .556 cal. rifle, 9mm revolver, and a BB gun, along with various rounds of ammunition and magazines."

Troopers also recovered two flat screen TVs and a sound bar they're linking to burglaries in the area.

Plus, troopers say they found.285 grams of heroin, .16 grams of crack cocaine, and .55 grams of marijuana.

They arrested Anthony Hood and Denise Clark, who both live in the apartment, without incident.

Both are charged with five counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person prohibited, conspiracy, receiving stolen property, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Also, Hood faces a possession of marijuana charge.
