2 hospitalized after shooting in Kingesssing

KINGSESSING (WTXF) - Philadelphia police are investigating a double shooting in the city's Kingsessing neighborhood Thursday morning.

Investigators say two men were shot shortly before 2 a.m. Thursday on the 1500 block of South Wilton Street.

A 33-year-old man was shot once in the left leg and was taken to the hospital in stable condition. The other victim only suffered a minor graze wound.

The shooting remains under investigation.

Police are also investigating a second double shooting that occurred a short time later in Oxford Circle at an after-hours nightclub. That incident is believed to have started with a fight inside the bar that spilled out into the street.
