2 men hospitalized after shooting in Frankford

Two men were rushed to the hospital after police say they were shot in Philadelphia's Frankford neighborhood.

SEPTA police officers heard gunshots on Arrott and Griscom Streets just after 11 p.m.

The officers responded to the scene of the shooting and found a 21-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. SEPTA police rushed the victim to the hospital.

Police say investigators were at the scene when they were notified that a 19-year-old man had walked into a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

The shooting occurred just down the street from SEPTA's Arrott Transportation Center, where police say several witnesses were questioned in the incident. Police are also hoping to comb through nearby surveillance cameras.

No arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police.
