20-year-old man dead after stabbing in West Oak Lane

WEST OAK LANE (WTXF) - A man is dead in West Oak Lane after he was stabbed, police say.

Police were called to the 6600 block of Limekiln Pike Saturday, just after 10:15 a.m., to investigate a possible assault.

Police arrived to find a 20-year-old man had been attacked by a group of people. Officials determined the man was stabbed in the buttocks with a butcher knife.

The man was transported to Einstein Medical Center and was initially listed in critical condition, but succumbed to his injuries soon after his arrival.

Police say the investigation is ongoing. No weapon has been recovered and no arrests have been made.
