3 firefighters injured in New Castle house fire
NEW CASTLE, Del. (FOX 29) - A house fire in New Castle, Delaware has left three firefighters injured.
Firefighters were called to the 100 block of Bunker Hill Road Thursday morning around 7 a.m for the two-alarm fire.
According to officials, when firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the home. Several fire departments were called to help battle the blaze.
Three firefighters were hurt during the fire and were taken to Christiana Hospital. One firefighter was treated for smoke inhalation and released.
The condition of the other two firefighters remains unknown.There were no other reported injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
